Well, it could be worse, Ovi went off the ice in pain... he was hit by the puck in the 3rd. Semin was in visible pain twice in the 3rd as well...

Islanders are definitely a team on the rise... at least for now...

The third period was completely taken by the Caps, wave after wave of Capitals attacks were leaving the only last man behind Isles defense standing, Dwayne Roloson was awesome...

And it started with all good signs for the Caps, Ovechkin scored the goal on PP and the night was promising, I was thinking "a hat-trick" for Ovi. But as it happened before, Ovi and the Caps got too cute. Yes, Ovi coud score 3 ,4 ,5 goals, but instead of shooting the puck he was trying to pass to his partners and even his partners could not believe him. C'mon, the 100% game moment for Ovi to shoot and he was giving the pass instead? That was it and Isles were happy to take it.
