Well hey, good luck with that, KHL and EuroSuperLeague.
Dude, im sorry to say this but.. As it is right now Russian teams are freaking crazy. The only countries i could see form a league together is Sweden,Finland, Schweiz and Germany.
It's better than the KHL trying to devour the other leagues.
eeek so after KHL championship team goes through the season and then the playoffs they are expected to compete against the NHL champion who went through a lot too..i dunno if the NHL will go for that. plus it seems more like a plot to determine who is the best league.
SC champion and Euro Champion will probably meet after the summer break, before the new season.
If this idea finds traction, I wonder how Ovie would react if the Caps win the Stanley Cup and then have to play the KHL championship team for the world title?
I don't see this happening as it is right now, it's too messy. Fine tooth it a bit and maybe, but interleague activities are both hard to plan and work out. Especially given the difference in season length form KHL to NHL, it wouldn't be fair. I don't see many people going for it.
